iBaby-Portable Ultrasound Device

This design truly pushes the iPhone’s capability to the next level! The Home Ultrasound Device aims to enhance the pregnancy experience directly from your phone.

Connected to the iPhone, the device can capture ultrasound images of an unborn baby and allows rapid sharing with doctors, family members and friends within seconds over wifi or its built in printer. On top of all that, the device also doubles as a baby monitor after the little one comes home!

Lacie External Harddrive

This external harddrive aims to break the traditional “box” shape and stack on into infinity. This is the conceptual “Lacie S2.0? by seasoned Yanko veteran Pedro Gomes. The front of this magical containment device displays in its eye the amount of free space contained within as well as the drive’s name. The back is a simple combination of plugs: two USB 3.0 and a DC, and the enclosure shape is one that stacks well and looks perfectly fabulous on its own.

So the solution lies in a compact Counting Ring, a simplified money counting machine.

Portable Heating Device for Comfortable Cooking

We have learned in our lifetime, that you cannot cook your food on a rainy day, while outside, because it would be like going surfing on a lake. Thanks to this ingenious device, all of that is now known as nonsense. Introducing, The Snail. This small device is designed by Peter Alwin, and he probably is among those whom in their childhood tried to light a fire during pouring rain. I know I did. The name was inspired by the familiar aspect of a common snail that would stick naturally to anything. This device has been designed to stick to metal utensils, there are magnets on the bottom silicon base. The Snail, has a distinctive shape, it’s small, lightweight, and very clever. It’s a portable heating and cooking device, and it’s based on magnetic induction processes and it sticks directly onto any cooking pots to heat their contents.

It was about time that someone came up with this, I mean we are in the portable era! Stick POP is a portable printer that can handle a small amount of load. You can’t overburden it with all your documents, just a small stash that you need pronto. Measuring 23 cm by 6 cm, it’s easy to fit it in your handbag. Just hook it up to your comp /device via USB and get printing! Oh, and an OLED screen on the bar displays the printing status.

Green Noise converts the sound energy to electricit

One of the places that suffers due to the decibels is the airport runway. Aircrafts really make some mean sounds, and the question is, should we let the expended energy go waste? Nope, we should not and therefore designer Hung-Uei Jou has designed the Green Noise, a device that traps & converts the sound energy to electricity for the runway lights. It features a conical speaker-form to endure the elements and the modular structure stands on a tripod base for easy maintenance. Neat idea, only if we could get some tech-specs to it.

Usual computer administrative debris like icons, menus and folders has been eliminated and a built-in browser has been integrated right into the user interface to ensure convenient browsing. No need to resized or juggling with overlapping windows with its constant full screen view and wherever you are right now just hitting the blue litl button will get you back to your homepage. Litl is designed to maintain itself by dealing with updates, plug-ins, patches, fixes and other stuff automatically. This Web-Book is ultra portable and lightweight. Moreover, it features a built-in handle for easy grabbing and carrying throughout the home. It features HDMI compatibility which will allow you to plug it into your TV to see everything bigger.
