This Ornate Scroll Is A Gadget



It’s inlayed with some mother-of-pearl work and looks like the Korean ‘Najawnchilgi’ lacquer ware craft, but Gyo-Ji is actually a translation device. Compared to the ViewTrans that we saw recently, this scroll features a rolled-up screen and allows you to write the foreign script directly onto it for translation.

Compact Alpine Rescue Vehicle


So it’s summer. You get kinda tired of the skin-bubbling heat, so you decide to head to the chill zone for some much-needed ski or snowboard or sled-dog action. You get out there and you get injured in a major way! Who comes to the rescue? Wolves. Well not anymore! Now there’s the CARV, aka the Compact Alpine Rescue Vehicle as designed by Matt Hardman.

With a name like Hardman you imagine dear M.H. must be a one bad mother designer. And having a reputation as a bad mother designer and alpine rescue expert AND total bad-ass mountain man, you know he’s got his brain in the right place with this four-track monster from ice heaven.

Airbus A350H


A350H Airliner design is inspired by the shape of a dolphin, it has an aerodynamical form to achieve high speed with minimum effort. As a new type ofairliner, A350H has been designed to be more friendly to the environment by using cryogenic hydrogen that is contained in high pressure tanks.

If you think about it, you can almost certainly pop up an image or two in your head about what the camera itself looks like. Everyone knows what it does.
