Nissan NUVU concept car

Imagine yourself in a FernGully-like leaf vehicle, chairs enough for you, your betrothed, and a single animal friend. This is almost exactly what you’ve got here in the Nissan NUVU concept car. … I mean if you close your eyes and imagine, of course. In reality, the outsides of this car, along with the insides to much greater extent, are uniquely elemental to a degree that will make you think you drove right out of elvendom on Earth.

First, the outside. Looks a lot like a Smart car. The big difference being the nearly-totally transparent top. The wheels are pretty much standard, but then again, look at the doorknobs. They are flowers! Take a look inside at the steering wheel for a closer look at what the flowers do.

Inside we’ve got a little tree-house, basically. The roof is held up by a branch in the center, the lines from top to bottom: organic. Three sears and a shelf space. Massive utilization of the space.

Be Flexible With Diabetes

Gluos is a non-invasive blood sugar meter with a detachable sensor for more flexibility. As a diabetic you really want to measure fast, easy and unobstrusively. The small device measures sugar levels using a display with an LED scale between a low result and a high result in different colors. Low sugar levels are shown in red. A normal level appears in white white and a high level goes orange. It stores the result and transfers it via bluetooth to a mobile phone and computer so your doctor has instant access.

The flexibility comes in how you measure your levels. A detachable sensor clips to your earlobe and gives you auditory feedback when your levels get to high. The same info gets transfered to your phone and computer. If your blood chemistry gets out of hand, a call can be made via your mobile to alert your doctor.

Animate For Obesity?

One of the reasons behind developing the Animate project was to motivate the obese-TV-Video Games-addicted-generation to move their butt and get some exercise. I don’t buy that theory. My point is, if Wii Sports couldn’t get me toned and slim, then nothing can! However, besides this Animate is cool gadget that kids on the block would love. It’s got a camera, MP3 player, watch band, communication feature and videogames. When you play the spy-detective kinda game, you get the opportunity to win some cool avatar credits that that motivate you to be active and on your toes!

With the widespread of diabetics among almost all range of people around, medical equipment manufacturers are introducing various products everyday. The Gluco(M) Wristband is a concept medical device that offers three major functions to diabetics: non-invasive and instant glucose reading, storing previous readings history with averages, and an extremely useful insulin chamber with loaded syringe cartridge. This innovative product is featured with ‘Reverse Iontophoresis’ technology and collects glucose samples from body fluids by using an electric current flowing throughout the sensors. The readings are shown on the back-lit LED display and different required buttons for operating this device are placed at the edge of this device.

Text from Eli :
The Gluco(M) is a medical concept that provides diabetics with three functions: instant and non-invasive glucose readings, history of previous readings with averages, and an insulin chamber with a loaded syringe cartridge for injections.

Diabetics must monitor their own blood glucose levels times a day, to determine how far above or below normal their glucose is and to determine how much insulin(s) they may need. This is usually done by placing a drop of blood from a skin prick onto a glucose strip and then inserting the strip into a glucose meter, a small machine that provides a digital readout of the blood glucose level.

The Gluco(M) uses a technology known as “reverse iontophoresis.” By using an electric current running throughout the sensors, it collects glucose samples from fluids in the body. The device is then able to read the sample and give a reading. With this technology, diabetics can keep a much closer watch on their glucose levels and avoid the problems that may occurs from having levels too high or low. The Gluco(M) enables users with the convenience of checking blood-sugar levels more frequently throughout the day, thus yielding for better control of glucose in the blood stream.

“Magic Stone” Telephone

What do you want? The perfect phone. How do you get it? Magic! It’s the “Magic Stone” telephone. It’s any shape you want it, it’s any color you want it. Within reason, cripes! You order the phone up, it’s sent you you in the mail, and wah-la! There you have it! Also it’s got not only a touch-screen, a holographic display, constant internet access, storage space, games, and it’s charged wirelessly or by sunlight, intercepted by it’s outer case. Enough?

“Absolutely any shape” is what you can accomplish with this phone, as well as any color, patterning, pictures, etc. for the case. This case is also covered with a “nano material” converting the sunlight into the energy your phone needs to function. The phone can also be charged wirelessly with electromagnetic fields.

Sound alright so far?

The big screen is a holograph projector (ala Star Wars) created by a series of lasers. The lasers can read motion within their field, allowing additional functionality. This is what we call “going there” so that one day, others may “go there” - not just in concept, but irl.
